AUCKLAND Adventure Park Information
Auckland Adventure Park reopens on the 16th of May, Saturday.
Auckland Adventure Park will be open for business every Saturday and Sunday starting 16th May 2020, and as a small, locally owned business, we look forward to your continued support throughout this time of difficultly. Our team has been working hard to ensure that we reopen with additional health and safety procedures based on the advice of Government and Ministry of Health experts.
We cannot wait to see you all!
Level 1 measures
- Auckland Adventure Park reopens on Saturday, 16th of May.
- Open only Saturday, Sunday and School holidays (wednesday to sunday) 10am to 5pm until further notice.
Our ticket office (now in a new location, opposite Area51 café) will be open for ticket sales. Alternatively, our online systems are now up and running for our guests to purchase tickets.
All pre-lockdown unused tickets, bookme, groupon, gift vouchers will be accepted.
Please be ready to make payments on site using a bank card, rather than cash
Upon arrival, you are required to fill in your contact details in our contact tracing register.
All our rides will continue to operate on a timetable.
Clear distance markers have been installed in the park including the café to help our valued customers keep a safe distance from one another. Our employees will be monitoring these queues.
We have introduced new seating arrangements in our cafe. Tables and chairs have been reconfigured to ensure enough distance between seated parties. We request you to sit within your bubble.
Safe seating spaced around the park for your individual bubble.
There will be empty seats between bubbles on some rides.
Sanitisation and disinfection measures
Our team shall disinfect high-frequency touch points, such as tables and chairs, service counters, eftpos machines, ride handles, helmets and other surfaces.
All rides will get a full mist disinfection between each guest rotation.
We have increased the number of hand sanitiser dispensers around the attraction for guests to use.
We have introduced new Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements for all our ride staff. These include face masks, disposable gloves, and hand sanitiser.
We have placed extra bins around the park.
NEW cabinet menu - we have reduced our menu offering of our cafe to place a greater emphasis on takeaways.
We request our valued customers to:
- Please do not visit the park if you have any symptoms associated with COVID-19 or if you have been in contact with any known or suspected cases of COVID-19.
- Apply hand sanitizer at the entry to each ride queue, before getting on the ride and exiting the ride
- Keep to your bubble, stay 1 metre from other bubbles.
- Please uphold the highest possible hygiene standards – whether it be sneezing or coughing into your elbow, thorough and regular hand washing and the frequent application of hand sanitiser.
We will continue to respond promptly to any changes to ensure our customers and staff remain safe. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your much needed ongoing support to our business.
Before you begin your adventure please read the following IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
You enter Auckland Adventure Park solely at your own risk. Auckland Adventure Park will not be responsible for any injury or loss which may occur during your visit. By purchasing a pass to Auckland Adventure Park you agree to adhere strictly to our park rules and ride regulations.
Smoking is NOT permitted within the park grounds at any time.
Pets are NOT permitted within the park grounds at any time.
Participants must be dressed appropriately for each activity, including:
- Closed toe footwear
- Long hair tied back, and no loose fitting clothing or accessories
All participants must attend a safety briefing before each activity, and obey all safety rules and instructions.
Age, height and weight restrictions are clearly identified at each activity. These must be adhered to.
All children must be actively supervised by a parent/guardian at all times. An adult is a parent or caregiver over the age of 14yrs.
Auckland Adventure Park reserves the right to restrict access to, or remove a participant from, its activities at its discretion. This includes anyone who:
- Does not follow any safety rules or staff instruction
- Demonstrates unsuitable behavior
- Is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Severe weather conditions may require Auckland Adventure Park to suspend its activities for your own safety.
A reasonable standard of behavior is expected. Reckless or violent behavior will not be tolerated.
Please keep to defined pathways, and keep clear of fenced off areas.
If you need assistance, or see someone having difficulty, please alert Silverdale Adventure Park staff immediately.
Rides located within Auckland Adventure Park may not be suitable to be ridden by persons with any form of health or medical condition that could be made worse by the risks/hazards associated with each ride, such as: high blood pressure; heart conditions; head, neck and/or back injuries; epilepsy; pregnancy. You participate at your own risk.
If you require any special care or attention due to any physical impairment or other please see a member of staff so as they can assist you.
Our staff will do everything to make your visit fun, enjoyable and safe. They wear identifiable uniforms and are ready to help – let them know if you need assistance.
